Perfopan
Perfofire® Grooved Panels
Perfofire grooved panels absorb sound for ceilings and walls, with grooves cut into the front face and a half-drilled rear that forms the absorbing structure. Built on a fire-resistant fibre-gypsum core, they give schools, offices and venues a clean linear look.
The core is A2-s1,d0 per EN 13501-1, and every panel is backed with a fire-resistant acoustic fabric. Three variants are offered: 2S 6A and 2S 14A (PR8%, DS4000) for mid and high frequencies, and 2S 30A (PR4%, DS2000), a lower-density option.

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
The 2S 6A and 2S 14A variants absorb mid and high frequencies, and 2S 30A is a lower-density option. They suit school halls, offices, restaurants and venues for ceiling or wall use. We assess against the BB93 target at the survey for schools.
Our installation team fixes them to walls or ceilings, and the jointing adapts to the room for a linear appearance. We check the substrate and set-out at the survey so groove lines run true across joints and corners.
The fibre-gypsum core is A2-s1,d0 per EN 13501-1, and every panel is backed with a fire-resistant acoustic fabric. We still confirm the classification for the finish you choose against your building's requirements before ordering.
All three have a 2 mm groove gap. 2S 6A and 2S 14A have 6 mm and 14 mm spacing, 8% perforation and 4000 holes per m2, with 10 mm rear holes. 2S 30A has 30 mm spacing, 4% perforation and 2000 holes per m2.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. Panel numbers depend on ceiling and wall areas and the absorption the room needs, so our free site survey agrees quantities and gives a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
