An acoustic survey measures how your room behaves: how long sound lingers, how loud the space is at rest, how far speech carries and how much noise passes through to the room next door. Those figures turn "it's too noisy" into a specific problem with a specific target.
It also answers the question most people end up guessing at: how much absorption the room needs. Too little changes almost nothing; too much leaves a space flat and unnaturally quiet. The report gives you the treatment, quantities and positions that reach the target, and it's yours to keep whoever carries out the work. If the room needs less than you expected, we'll say so.

Our acoustic survey is free. There is no charge and no obligation to go ahead with anything afterwards, and the written report is yours to keep whoever carries out the work. We would like the chance to earn the project, but the survey stands on its own as useful evidence about your room.
It depends on the size and number of rooms. A single room is usually a short visit, while larger or multi-room sites take longer. We agree the visit time when you book, and send the written report once the measurements have been processed.
Yes. Where a visit is not practical, we work from room dimensions, photos and drawings and give you a budget and initial recommendations. A site visit adds measured data, such as reverberation time and background noise, so we recommend one wherever possible.
