Kuuks
Siberian Oak
Siberian Oak is a Kuuks veneered slat panel with a cooler, grey-toned grain than standard oak. Its 12mm MDF slats sit on a felt acoustic base that absorbs sound, reducing echo on walls and ceilings in offices, hospitality spaces and homes.
Slats are 12mm veneered MDF, 27mm wide with 13mm spacing, in 2400mm or 2800mm lengths. The base is 7mm or 9mm GRS-certified recycled PET felt in black or grey. Slats and felt are classified B-s1,d0.

Its cooler grain suits interiors with pale stone, concrete or muted palettes: modern offices, university common rooms, cafes, hotel corridors and reception areas. For a school, we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey.
Kuuks lists B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1 for both the veneered MDF slats and the felt base. Classification still depends on the finish and your building, so we check it against your fire strategy before anything is ordered.
Slat panels on a felt base are usually fixed directly to a sound wall or to battens, on walls or ceilings. Our installation team confirms the method for your surface at the survey and carries out the installation.
