OAK Light Brown MDF Grey Felt
OAK Light Brown MDF Grey Felt is a Kuuks slat panel: light brown oak veneered MDF slats on a grey recycled PET felt base. The felt absorbs sound that enters the gaps between slats, reducing echo in offices, hospitality interiors and homes, on walls or ceilings.
Slats are 12mm veneered MDF, 27mm wide with 13mm spacing, in 2400mm or 2800mm lengths. The base is 7mm or 9mm GRS-certified recycled PET felt. Slats and felt are classified B-s1,d0, and the board is formaldehyde-free.

Its light oak and grey felt read as warm and quiet, so it suits offices, meeting rooms, restaurants, hotel lounges and reception areas. Kuuks states it suits walls and ceilings. For a school, we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey.
Kuuks classifies both the veneered MDF slats and the felt base as B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1: limited contribution to fire, very low smoke, no flaming droplets. We still check it against your building's fire strategy before ordering.
Slat panels on a felt base are usually fixed directly to a sound wall or to battens, on walls or ceilings. Our installation team confirms the method for your surface, including plasterboard, at the survey and does the fitting.
