Parmephon Velum
Parmephon Velum is a fabric-wrapped glasswool acoustic panel fixed with concealed profiles, so the wall shows no visible fasteners or mounting grid. It absorbs sound in studios, screening rooms and AV spaces where reflections need controlling and the finish must stay seamless.
Velum has a concealed vertical fixing channel, with an aluminium U-profile at top and bottom and hidden H-profiles at the joints. Sizes run from 600×600 mm to 1200×3000 mm, plus custom, on a 95 kg/m³ core.

Velum meets A2-s1,d0 (EN 13501-1+A1:2013, CE/ISO 9001) with high sound absorption at 95 kg/m³. Its hidden-fixing system is specified where sound reflection control is most critical and a visible mounting grid is not acceptable — studios, screening rooms and high-end AV spaces.

Velum is specified where a visible mounting grid is not acceptable: studios, screening rooms and AV spaces, and it can suit boardrooms or school performance rooms. For schools we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey.
Parmephon rates Velum A2-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1+A1:2013, meaning limited combustibility, very low smoke and no flaming droplets. We confirm the classification for your chosen finish against your building's requirements before anything goes on order.
Panels slot into an aluminium U-profile at the top and bottom of the run, with hidden H-profiles at each joint. Our installation team fits the profile system and checks the wall at the survey so the joints stay straight.
Velum comes in 600×600, 600×1200, 1200×1200, 1200×2400 and 1200×3000 mm, with custom sizes on request. Panels weigh about 3.5 kg/m², with a glass-tissue faced glasswool core and a concealed vertical fixing channel.
