Monacoustic

08ML.0305 R3-8 Linear

08ML.0305 R3-8 is a Monacoustic linear panel: a grooved wood acoustic board whose rear perforations turn a timber-look surface into a sound absorber. It is used on walls and ceilings in conference rooms, auditoriums and hospitality spaces.

Profiles differ in groove width and spacing, and the right one is chosen once the room's reverberation has been measured. Standard boards are 18mm MDF or 18mm FR-MDF, in Alpi veneer, wood veneer, HPL, melamine or solid finishes.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.

How does 08ML.0305 R3-8 reduce echo?

Sound enters the grooves on the face and passes through perforations on the back, where it is absorbed instead of reflected. We choose the groove profile against the room's acoustic target, whether that is a boardroom or a hospitality space.

Is 08ML.0305 R3-8 suitable for restaurants and bars?

It is listed for hospitality spaces, conference rooms and auditoriums. For hospitality we also check the finish, cleaning routine and fire classification before recommending a board, because these vary with use.

What is the fire position on 08ML.0305 R3-8?

No rating is assumed. The classification depends on the board, 18mm MDF or 18mm FR-MDF (fire-retardant MDF), so we read Monacoustic's data sheet against your building's fire strategy before anything is ordered.

What sizes and finishes come with 08ML.0305 R3-8?

512 x 1390, 672 x 1390, 512 x 2780, 672 x 2780, 576 x 1800 and 576 x 3640mm. Finishes: Alpi veneer, wood veneer, HPL, melamine or solid. Other thicknesses and materials can be produced to suit a project.

How many 08ML.0305 R3-8 panels will my room need?
