Monacoustic
04MP.1616 X2 Perforated
04MP.1616 X2 is a Monacoustic perforated wood panel for wall and ceiling linings. In hard-surfaced rooms such as lecture theatres, meeting rooms and restaurants, its perforated face turns part of the surface into a sound absorber while keeping a solid, joinery-grade timber finish.
Standard panels are made in 18mm MDF or 18mm FR-MDF (fire-retardant MDF); other thicknesses and materials can be produced for a project. Six sizes run from 512 x 1390mm to 576 x 3640mm, in Alpi veneer, wood veneer, HPL, melamine or solid finishes.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Yes. It is a perforated timber panel for wall and ceiling linings, intended for rooms with hard surfaces such as lecture theatres, meeting rooms and restaurants. In a school hall or lecture space we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey.
FR-MDF is the fire-retardant board option, but the product text states no classification. We take the classification for your chosen board from Monacoustic's data sheet and compare it with your fire strategy, specifying FR-MDF where the building requires it.
Our installation team fits them. Because the fixing system and any cavity behind a perforated panel change how much it absorbs, we confirm the substructure and fixings for your wall or ceiling at the survey before the layout is set out.
There are six standard sizes: 512 x 1390, 672 x 1390, 512 x 2780, 672 x 2780, 576 x 1800 and 576 x 3640mm. Finishes are Alpi veneer, wood veneer, HPL, melamine or solid, on 18mm MDF or FR-MDF.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. Panel count depends on which frequencies need controlling, so a free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report. Measuring reverberation is a paid add-on.
