Monacoustic
02ML.0313 X2 Linear
02ML.0313 X2 is a Monacoustic grooved wood panel with perforations on the rear of the board. Sound entering the grooves is absorbed rather than reflected, so a timber-look wall or ceiling controls echo in conference rooms, auditoriums and hospitality spaces.
The standard range is made in 18mm MDF or 18mm FR-MDF (fire-retardant MDF), in six sizes from 512 x 1390mm to 576 x 3640mm. Finishes are Alpi veneer, wood veneer, HPL, melamine or solid. Groove width and spacing differ between profiles.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
It suits rooms where a linear timber finish and echo control are both wanted, such as lecture rooms, auditoriums and conference spaces. For a school, we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey before recommending a quantity.
The board is 18mm MDF or 18mm FR-MDF, a fire-retardant MDF. We do not quote a classification until we have checked Monacoustic's data sheet for the chosen board against your building's fire strategy, then specify FR-MDF where it is needed.
It is a wall and ceiling lining, and the fixing method and any cavity behind it affect absorption. Our installation team confirms the substructure and fixings for your walls or ceiling at the survey, then fits the panels.
