Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Plain suits offices, meeting rooms, conference centres, classrooms, universities, hotels and healthcare facilities. Its minimal felt surface absorbs reflected sound without adding pattern, so it fits quieter interior schemes.
It is listed for classrooms and universities as well as offices and hotels. For a school we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey, then plan panel areas on the walls or ceiling.
Plain is a flat PET felt panel from the FlatLine Collection, and Feltouch advises clean, dry, prepared substrates. Our installation team confirms the fixing method for your wall or ceiling at the survey.
Feltouch publishes reaction-to-fire data per product, and it can differ between colour ranges or finishes. We confirm the current classification from the manufacturer's data sheet against your building's requirements before anything is ordered, not by assumption.
There are multiple sizes in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours, with samples on request; allow a few working days. We work out quantity from room size, ceiling height, finishes and occupancy. A free site survey gives a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
