Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
It absorbs. The felt takes in sound reflections and reduces reverberation, which improves speech clarity inside the room. It does not block sound passing between rooms, so we advise separately where insulation is the actual need.
It is listed for offices, meeting rooms, open-plan workspaces, educational facilities, libraries, hospitality venues and retail spaces. For schools we assess against the BB93 target at the survey, and for open offices we focus on speech intelligibility.
The product data holds no rating, so we do not claim one. Before ordering we confirm the classification from the manufacturer's data sheet against your building's requirements, and we tell you promptly if the baffle needs to be swapped.
They hang from the ceiling, and the structure is lightweight, which keeps fixing straightforward. Our installation team confirms the method for your soffit at the survey and sets the baffles out so the rows read evenly.
