Busypod
Busysofa HighBack
Busysofa HighBack is the hooded, high-back version of Busypod's single-person Busysofa One. The acoustic hood adds privacy for conversations and focused work in open areas, so a reception, break-out zone or open-plan office gains a quieter place to sit.
The sofa is light, sturdy and soft in form, and it comes in 39 upholstery colours. It is a single-person seat, and Busysofa One is the version without the acoustic hood.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
It suits open areas where one person needs a calmer seat: school libraries and corridors, office break-out zones, hotel lobbies and venue foyers. The hood helps privacy for calls and focused work. We pick positions with you at the survey.
It is a freestanding single-person sofa described as light and sturdy. Whether you fix it depends on the floor and how the space is used, and our installation team advises on this at the survey, including any fixing for public areas.
We do not quote a rating without evidence. The fabric and foam determine the classification, so we obtain it from Busypod's data sheet and check it against your building's requirements, for instance for a school or hotel, before you order.
Busysofa HighBack comes in 39 upholstery colours. A matching palette helps it blend into a reception or stand out as a feature, and we can compare colours against your interior scheme once you have samples.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. The number of sofas depends on how many people need a quiet seat at once. Our free site survey agrees numbers and positions and gives a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
