They absorb. The PET felt takes reflected sound out of a room, which reduces echo and reverberation. It does not block sound passing through a wall, so for insulation between rooms our acoustician advises on the wall build-up separately at the survey.
Our listing does not give Zebra a fire rating, so we do not claim one. Before ordering we obtain the classification from the manufacturer's data sheet and check it against the fire requirements of your school, office or venue.
Our installation team fixes the tiles to the wall and confirms the method for your surface at the survey. Because the stripes run in a continuous line, setting out is agreed on site. It works well on one focal wall in an office, bar or retail space.
