Feltouch
Star Baffle
Star Baffle is a star-shaped hanging felt baffle that absorbs sound and gives ceilings a strong visual identity. It suits open-plan offices, meeting rooms, auditoriums, schools and hospitality venues where the ceiling is treated as a design feature as well as an acoustic one.
Designed by Studio13 Architects, Star Baffle is a new addition to Feltouch's Baffle Collection. Its lightweight modular suspension system suits new-build and renovation projects, and it comes in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours.

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Yes. It is listed for offices and meeting rooms, and the modular system allows custom arrangements over open-plan floors. The felt absorbs sound to cut reverberation, while the star shape gives teams a recognisable ceiling feature.
It is listed for auditoriums, educational facilities, hospitality venues and public areas. For schools we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey, and for hotels or restaurants we match the layout to occupancy and ceiling height.
No fire classification is stated in the product information, so we make no claim. We confirm it from the manufacturer's data sheet against your building's requirements before ordering, and we raise any difficulty before the specification is fixed.
The lightweight modular suspension system allows fast mounting, adjustment and maintenance, and it integrates with existing ceiling systems. It suits both new-build and renovation work. Our installation team confirms the fixing for your ceiling at the survey.
