Ripple
Ripple is a sculptural suspended pendant, inspired by water ripples, that combines lighting with sound absorption. Its felt surface reduces reverberation in offices, meeting rooms, libraries, reception areas, restaurants and hospitality venues, with direct and indirect light controlled separately.
Designed by Ali Berkman, Ripple Pendant Lighting is made from PET felt containing 50% recycled material. It is available in several diameters, with separately controllable direct and indirect lighting.

Ripple is sound absorption. Its felt pendant absorbs reflections and reduces reverberation inside the room, which helps speech clarity. It does not stop sound passing between rooms. Several pendants are usually needed to change how a whole room sounds.
It suits offices, meeting rooms, libraries, reception areas, hospitality venues and restaurants. In a school library or hall we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey. Diameter is chosen to suit the room.
Ripple hangs as a suspended pendant. Our installation team fixes the luminaire, and the electrical connection is made by your electrician. Our acoustician can advise on pendant positions at a free site survey.
Feltouch's published data classifies Ripple as B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1: limited contribution to fire, very low smoke, no flaming droplets. We check the chosen finish against your building's fire strategy before anything is ordered.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. The number needed depends on room size, ceiling height, hard surfaces and use. A free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
