Feltouch

Rhino Square

Rhino Square is a decorative acoustic panel with a geometric three-dimensional surface of square modules. Its felt absorbs ambient sound and reduces reverberation, which suits meeting rooms, offices, conference centres, coworking spaces, hotels and public buildings.

Part of Feltouch's DecoSound Collection, Rhino Square is produced from 50% recycled PET felt. It suits wall and ceiling compositions, is lightweight and fixed with Velcro, and comes in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.

Can Rhino Square improve meeting room acoustics?

Yes. By reducing reverberation and controlling reflections it makes meetings, presentations and video calls easier to follow. The square modules suit meeting rooms, conference centres and co-working spaces, and the effect grows with the area treated.

Does Rhino Square suit schools and educational facilities?

It is listed for educational facilities, offices, hotels and public buildings. In a school we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey, then propose where on the walls or ceiling it should go.

How are Rhino Square panels fixed?

The lightweight PET felt is fixed with Velcro, which allows accurate alignment of the square modules on walls or ceilings. Our installation team confirms the fixing for your surface at the survey.

What fire rating does Rhino Square have?

Feltouch publishes reaction-to-fire data per product, and it can differ between colour ranges. We read the current classification from the manufacturer's data sheet and check it against your building's requirements before ordering, rather than assuming a rating.

Are samples available, and how many panels will my room need?

Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. Coverage is worked out from the room's volume, finishes and use. A free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report; measurement is a paid add-on.
