Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Recta's felt absorbs sound and the divider breaks up sightlines and sound paths between desks, which helps in offices, libraries and shared workspaces. It treats reflections and screens desks, but it does not seal a space, so our acoustician checks at the survey whether other treatment is needed too.
Recta is freestanding and stands on a metal base for stability, so it is not wall-fixed. Our installation team positions each divider where the layout needs it and confirms placement with you at the survey.
We do not claim a fire rating for Recta. The classification for the felt comes from Feltouch's data sheet, and we check it against the fire requirements of your office, library or restaurant before ordering.
The PET felt, which has 50% recycled content, comes in 53 standard Feltouch colours. The metal base is available in different metal finishes, which we confirm from the data sheet for your order. Size details are confirmed the same way.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. The number depends on the layout and how the space is used, so a free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report that plans divider positions.
