Feltouch
Moon Panel
Moon Panel is a sculptural acoustic panel for ceilings and walls, built from interlocking felt plates. The added surface area breaks up sound waves, reducing reverberation and improving speech intelligibility in open-plan offices, libraries, auditoriums, lobbies and atriums.
Designed by Ayça Akkaya Kul, it is produced from 50% recycled PET felt. Velcro fastening allows quick installation and repositioning, and the panel also suits meeting rooms, co-working spaces, educational facilities and cultural venues.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
It suits open-plan offices, libraries, auditoriums, lobbies and atriums, and educational facilities, on walls or ceilings. For a school we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey, because the effect depends on how much of the room is treated.
We do not assume a rating. Feltouch publishes reaction-to-fire data per product, so we confirm the classification for Moon Panel from the manufacturer's data sheet against your building's requirements before anything is ordered.
It is fixed with Feltouch's Velcro system, so panels can be lifted off and repositioned if the layout changes, on ceilings or walls. Our installation team confirms the fixing for your surface at the survey.
It is a structure of interlocking felt plates in 50% recycled PET felt, with colour options following the Feltouch felt range. Our acoustician can bring colour options to a free site survey to match your interior.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. Our acoustician works out the amount from room size, ceiling height, existing finishes and occupancy at the free site survey, then sends a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
