Feltouch

Fishbone

Feltouch Fishbone is an acoustic wall panel that forms a continuous fishbone pattern across large surfaces. The felt absorbs reflected sound, so offices, meeting rooms, schools and hospitality spaces with big walls get a calmer room and a consistent finish.

Part of the Tiles Collection, Fishbone is a wall cladding product, not free-standing. Each panel is 1200 × 2400mm, in 6mm or 12mm thickness, made from PET felt with 50% recycled content, in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.

Is Feltouch Fishbone only for large walls?

It is designed for them, since each panel is 1200 × 2400mm and the pattern runs across large surfaces. It suits offices, meeting rooms, schools and hospitality interiors, and for schools we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey.

What is the fire classification of Fishbone?

We do not assume one. The manufacturer's data sheet gives the classification for the product and finish, and we compare it with your building's requirements before anything is ordered.

How is Fishbone fixed, and who installs it?

Fishbone is wall cladding, not a free-standing screen. Our installation team fixes the 1200 × 2400mm panels on site, with the method and the pattern alignment agreed after we inspect the wall at the survey.

What thickness and colour options does Fishbone have?

Panels are 1200 × 2400mm in either 6mm or 12mm thickness, made from PET felt with 50% recycled content. There are 53 standard Feltouch felt colours to choose from.

Can I get Fishbone samples, and how many panels should I plan for?

Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. A free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report, so panel numbers follow from the wall area and the acoustic need.
