Acoustera
Rotund
Rotund is a felt acoustic disc from Acoustera that mounts three ways: clustered on a wall, suspended from the ceiling, or on a weighted base as a portable divider. Layered diameters break up flat surfaces and the felt absorbs sound in lobbies, restaurants and open offices.
Rotund is supplied in multiple diameters for layered clustering, in dove grey, sand, charcoal and teal in the current range. Mounting options are surface wall-mount, a ceiling suspension kit for hanging clusters, or a freestanding weighted floor base.

Dove grey, sand, charcoal and teal to mix
- Form: circular acoustic disc panel, supplied in multiple diameters for layered clustering
- Material: acoustic felt (full material and fire data from the manufacturer on request)
- Mounting: surface wall-mount, ceiling suspension kit for hanging clusters, or freestanding weighted floor base as a divider
- Finish/colour: dove grey, sand, charcoal and teal shown in current range
As a modular system, individual discs can be replaced or rearranged without discarding the whole installation. It suits acoustically live spaces with hard, reflective surfaces — reception areas, restaurants, open-plan offices and meeting rooms — where a mix of wall, ceiling and floor-standing units is often used together to treat a room from more than one plane.
Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Rotund suits reception areas, restaurants, open-plan offices and meeting rooms, where hard reflective surfaces make a room live. Clusters on a wall, canopies overhead and floor-standing dividers are often combined to treat a room from more than one plane. Schools are assessed against their BB93 target at the survey.
The manufacturer holds the full material and fire data for Rotund and supplies it on request. We obtain that data sheet and check the classification against your building's requirements before ordering, rather than assuming a rating.
Our installation team fits Rotund as a surface wall-mount, from a ceiling suspension kit or on a freestanding weighted base, depending on the plan. Because it is modular, individual discs can be replaced or rearranged later without discarding the installation.
Rotund comes in multiple disc diameters designed for layered clustering. The current range shows dove grey, sand, charcoal and teal, and the colours are meant to be mixed within a cluster. We confirm exact diameters and availability from the manufacturer for your order.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. The number of discs depends on the surfaces being treated and the room's acoustic target, so a free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report that sets out the layout.
