Cross Drop-In

Cross Drop-In is an acoustic felt ceiling tile with a pressed diamond and cross lattice that drops into a standard suspended grid. It absorbs sound overhead and gives open-plan offices, meeting rooms and circulation spaces a patterned ceiling instead of a flat one.

Cross Drop-In is made from acoustic felt with a lattice-textured relief and is laid into a standard suspended T-bar grid. The current Acoustera range shows it in grey, and the pattern suits residential living areas as well as offices.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting

Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.

Where in a UK office or school does Cross Drop-In work?

Cross Drop-In suits open-plan offices, meeting rooms and circulation spaces that already have a suspended grid. For a school corridor or hall we assess the ceiling against its BB93 target at the survey, then size the tile area to match.

Does Cross Drop-In have a fire rating?

Acoustera provides material and fire data on request instead of publishing it. We request the data sheet and check the classification against your building's requirements, including any escape routes, before the tiles are ordered.

Who fits Cross Drop-In tiles into a ceiling?

The tiles lay into a standard T-bar suspended ceiling, so fitting is quick where a grid exists. Our installation team installs them and checks the grid condition at the survey, so the lattice pattern lines up across the room.

What colour is Cross Drop-In, and what is the surface like?

The current Acoustera range shows Cross Drop-In in grey, with a diamond and cross lattice pressed into acoustic felt. Other colours and the tile size are confirmed with the manufacturer when your quotation is prepared.

How many Cross Drop-In samples and tiles do I need?

Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. Tile numbers follow room size, ceiling height, hard surfaces and use, so the free site survey gives a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report for your ceiling.
