Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Yes. Feltouch notes that Cracker's flexible linear profile adapts to curved and radius walls. The felt absorbs sound on walls or ceilings, which suits open-plan offices, meeting rooms and hospitality spaces, and the effect depends on how much of the room is treated.
It suits open-plan offices, meeting rooms, hospitality environments, educational facilities and public spaces. For a school we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey and plan panel areas from that.
Cracker goes on walls and ceilings, including curved surfaces. Our installation team confirms the fixing for your substrate and sets out the 50mm-deep panels on site, so joints and patterns line up.
Feltouch publishes reaction-to-fire data per product, and it can vary between colour ranges. Before anything is ordered, we take the classification from the manufacturer's data sheet and check it against your building's requirements, rather than assuming a rating.
