Feltouch
Bowl
Bowl is a suspended felt pendant whose layered circular form diffuses sound waves and reduces reverberation while shaping how light is distributed. It suits offices, meeting rooms, collaborative spaces and public interiors where light and acoustic comfort are needed together.
Designed by Ali Berkman and made from 50% recycled PET felt, Bowl has separately controllable direct and indirect lighting. It is a lightweight suspended structure, available in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours.

Where it works, fire rating and fitting
Your product questions, answered, for UK schools, offices and venues.
Yes. The two are separately controllable, so light can follow the task or the mood of the room. Its layered felt form absorbs reflected sound in offices, meeting rooms and public interiors, and several pendants are usually needed to change a whole room.
Bowl is a lightweight suspended pendant, so our installation team fixes it from the ceiling. The electrical connection is made by your electrician. We agree positions with you at the free site survey before anything is ordered.
Bowl is available in 53 standard Feltouch felt colours, in a layered circular form made from 50% recycled PET felt. For a school we assess the room against its BB93 target at the survey. Ask for samples to judge colour.
Feltouch's published data classifies Bowl as B-s1,d0 to EN 13501-1: limited contribution to fire, very low smoke, no flaming droplets. We check this against your building's fire strategy for the chosen finish before ordering.
Samples are available on request; allow a few working days. The quantity follows the acoustic need of the room, not its floor area alone. A free site survey gives you a quotation and an AI-assisted acoustic report.
