Acoustic Art Panels

Acoustic art panels are sound-absorbing panels with a printed face. The image, whether artwork, photography, a pattern or a brand graphic, is printed on an acoustically open fabric over an absorbent core, so the wall looks like a picture and works as acoustic treatment.

They suit reception areas, restaurants, offices and schools. Print colour and resolution are proofed, and the fabric must stay open to sound, so both are agreed before production. We source from several manufacturers, then supply and install across the UK.

Sound absorption

Sound passes through the printed fabric into an absorbent core.

From first survey to final finish

Seven stages, one point of contact. Book a free survey or call +44 1908 880191, and we'll come back to you with the next step.

Acoustic Survey

An acoustician visits the site, or works from your drawings and photos when a visit isn't practical. Either way, the room, its surfaces and how it is used are recorded before any advice is given.

Acoustic Assessment

Reverberation, ambient noise and noise transfer are read against what the space is used for. The findings arrive as an AI-assisted acoustic report with recommendations, yours to keep with no obligation to proceed.

Acoustic Design

Treatment is modelled against a reverberation target, then drawn up with panel positions, fixings and finishes. Nothing moves forward until you have approved the design.

Specification & Quotation

Every quotation comes with the specification behind it, listing products by type, quantity and finish with costs set out line by line. What is quoted is what the design calls for.

Acoustic Product Supply

Panels, baffles, ceilings and screens come from the manufacturers we work with and are supplied to the approved specification. What arrives on site matches what was designed.

Acoustic Installation

Our installation team fits to the approved drawings, checking positions and fixings as they go. One team supplies and installs the treatment.

Acoustic Testing & Compliance

Optional paid add-on: after fit-out the space can be measured again and compared with the original survey, so the improvement is measured rather than assumed. Compliance testing is carried out with our testing partner, EMC Acoustics, and the written record goes into your building file.

Specification, performance and installation

Your product questions, answered.

Do acoustic art panels absorb sound as well as plain panels?

They can, if the print is on an acoustically open fabric over a suitable core. A thick, coated or sealed print surface would block sound from reaching the core and reduce the performance. We check the fabric and print method, and compare it with the core's tested absorption, before specifying.

Can I use my own artwork or brand imagery?

Yes. Send the image as a high-resolution file and we advise on the size it needs to be. We proof colours before production. Check that you hold the rights to the image, especially for photography or artwork by others.

Can one large image be split across several acoustic panels?

Yes. A single image can be divided across panels so it reads as one picture on the wall. Gaps and edges between panels will show, so we agree the layout and the join positions at design stage.

Where do acoustic art panels work best?

In reception areas, restaurants, offices, corridors and school halls, where a plain acoustic panel would look out of place. We position them where sound reflects most, usually at ear height on the walls closest to the noise.

How do I clean and look after printed acoustic panels?

Follow the manufacturer's care guidance for the fabric and print. A light vacuum with a soft brush is usually enough for dust. Avoid wet cleaning unless the maker says it is suitable, as moisture can mark the print and affect the core.
