Turkmenistan's national television and radio complex needed consistent acoustic treatment applied across a large number of studios.

This project was commissioned for Turkmenistan's national television tower and broadcasting complex. It called for acoustic treatment across 12 television studios and 24 broadcasting rooms in a single facility.

At that scale a standardised, repeatable treatment was essential, so 8,000 m² of Heraklith® wood-wool insulation panels were applied across the studios and broadcasting rooms.

Every studio in the complex received the same consistent acoustic treatment.

Challenge

Turkmenistan's national television and radio complex needed consistent acoustic treatment applied across a large number of studios.

Broadcast studios need a high standard of sound insulation between rooms and consistent acoustic control within each space. With this many studios in one facility, a standardised, repeatable treatment was essential.

Solution

High-performance wood-wool acoustic wall panelling was applied throughout every television and radio studio in the complex.

8,000 m² of Heraklith® wood-wool insulation panels were applied to the walls across 12 television studios and 24 broadcasting rooms. They provide the sound insulation, acoustic control and refined wall finishes that professional broadcast use requires.

Acoustic Survey

A surveyor visits the site, or works from your drawings and photos when a visit isn't practical. Either way, the room, its surfaces and how it is used are recorded before any advice is given.

Acoustic Assessment

Reverberation, ambient noise and noise transfer are read against what the space is used for. The findings arrive as a written report with recommendations, yours to keep with no obligation to proceed.

Acoustic Design

Treatment is modelled against a reverberation target, then drawn up with panel positions, fixings and finishes. Nothing moves forward until you have approved the design.

Specification & Quotation

Every quotation comes with the specification behind it, listing products by type, quantity and finish with costs set out line by line. What is quoted is what the design calls for.

Acoustic Product Supply

Panels, baffles, ceilings and screens come from our Acoustic Solutions range and are supplied to the approved specification. What arrives on site matches what was designed.

Acoustic Installation

Our own engineers fit to the approved drawings, checking positions and fixings as they go. One team supplies and installs, so nothing is handed between contractors.

Acoustic Testing & Compliance

Optional: after fit-out the space can be measured again and compared with the original survey, so the improvement is measured rather than assumed. Results are reported against the relevant standards and the written record goes into your building file.
